Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, President of the Health Tourism Council, published a message on the 34th anniversary of the death of Dr. Fazıl Küçük and emphasized that Dr. Küçük, who has a different and indelible place in the hearts with his populism, determination to struggle and devotion, has written his name in golden letters in history as the Hero of the National Struggle who courageously assumed the leadership of the Turkish Cypriot People in the most critical periods.
Stating that Dr. Fazıl Küçük, who organized the struggle for existence by revealing that the Turkish Cypriot People could not exist without Turkey, opposed ENOSIS with great courage, Savaşan underlined that Dr. Küçük had a pioneering role in the echo of the events in Cyprus in the world.
Pointing out that Dr. Fazıl Küçük was a great leader and unforgettable statesman who paved the way for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Savaşan stated that Küçük dedicated his life to protecting the existence of the Turkish Cypriots and emphasized that a just, comprehensive and sustainable solution in Cyprus and the domination of peace and stability in the region can only be possible by protecting the sacred legacy left by Dr. Küçük.
At the end of his message, Savaşan said, “We commemorate our unforgettable leader Dr. Fazıl Küçük with longing, love, respect and gratitude on the 34th anniversary of his passing away.’.
